Roots are key organs for water and nutrient acquisition transport. Therefore, root phenes that associated with adaptation to low phosphorus (P) environments could enhance top-soil exploration, while deeper allocation is important acquiring mobile nutrients. The understanding of interactions among can help in the development common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) genotypes adapted drought fertility through genetic improvement. Two experiments (pot field) were conducted at Agricultural Research Institute Mozambique assess contribution shoot biomass grain yield under combined stress (drought P). pot study assessed eight genotypes, four treatments combining regimes non-stress) levels (200 25) mg P kg?1 soil.
